Chasing your dreams can be costly. You may find yourself short on time, energy, money, and friends. It can feel like waging war every single day. It may feel like a dark, lonely time.
Yet out of those difficulties, some really beautiful epiphanies may emerge.
You may find clarity about the dreams your chasing — and so you fine-tune your strategy.
You may find that you can live on a lot less income and still be incredibly happy every day — and so you find freedom from financial worries.
You may find that your friendships grow and change just like you do — and so you become a better friend and develop stronger, better connections with loved ones.
You may find that even in the darkest of times, there’s hope for the light to come once again — and so you learn patience and perseverance that’ll carry you through just about anything.
You may find confidence. You may find strength you never knew you had. You may find courage to lead a group of people, even though you have no clue what you’re doing. You may find the grace to laugh at yourself more often. You may find it easier to say, “I don’t know! Let’s find out.”
The truth about chasing dreams is that it can be really tough and scary. But it can also be really awesome and exciting. It can help you grow in a really great way.
Let me tell you this much: the risk is certainly worth the reward.
