Tomorrow we have another fun day of shooting lined up for my newest documentary film titled Brewconomy. We had a conference call last night with producers and crew to go over the details. I’m giddy already.
The documentary is about the local craft beer movement and it’s positive impacts on my home state of North Carolina. There’s so much more to it than what’s in your pint glass. I’m so thrilled about what’s taking shape and sharing it with you through this film.
My team and I have been really busy since our Kickstarter campaign ended. There are a lot of moving parts to making this film and a lot of it is happening simultaneously. It’s tough to keep up, much less share all of the details with you here.
First of all, we’re working on fulfillment of promises we made to our Kickstarter backers. We’re providing them with exclusive behind-the-scenes info, which means I’m emailing them on a regular basis about our production. We’ve also been working out logistics on getting t-shirts, glasses, autographed books, and such to our backers. So much love and hard work goes into it.
My team and I have been busy planning editing, post-production, motion graphics, and collecting existing music — all while we’re still in production. It’s really exciting to see these things taking shape at the same time. It makes me so thankful — every single day — that I have such an incredible team. They’re such pros.
Follow along with our shoot online tomorrow. I’ll be posting pics to my personal accounts on Instagram and Twitter. You can get more details about the film and our progress on the Brewconomy Twitter and Facebook pages.
There’s a lot happening! It’s really exciting. I’m counting my blessings because I get to do something that I love, knowing that it makes this world a better place for all of us. I’m one happy filmmaker to feel so supported by my friends, family, and fans!
