I’ve spent a lifetime writing. Some of it turned better than others. (I wrote a lot of bad poetry for a while.) But I pretty much love to write (kinda obvs, since I’m blogging, right?).
Yesterday I spent the entire day writing about my next documentary film for an application. I’ve been working on the application for about six months now: reading, researching, writing, editing, and talking with folks about it. But yesterday was the first day where I had the freedom to sit down and focus for about eight hours on this one application. It was pretty great.
My studio set up is sweet, too. I’ve really enjoyed having the time to actually be in that room. That might sound silly, but most of you know the past six months have been pretty busy. (Like getting hitched, yay!) Anyway, I’m digging the set up and appreciating the chance to be productive. It’s glorious.
One of the most rewarding parts of the writing yesterday was working on the section on listing accomplishments to date for this documentary. It was two pages long!
Y’all, we’re on a roll. It’s awesome. Stay tuned for more. 🙂
