Seems like I’ve spent a lot of time in the past few months thinking about the current state of the film industry. A lot of the fests, podcasts, blogs, and publications I enjoy have focused on it. I can’t stop thinking about the state of the film industry, and how the convergence of tech and entertainment are shaping its future. I’m pretty excited about it.

One of the podcasts I really enjoy is Scriptnotes with John August and Craig Mazin. It’s typically about screenwriting and all the things that go with it, but they also talk about Hollywood and what’s happening in the industry. Specifically in Scriptnotes, 95: Notes on the death of the film industry, they talk about a few things I’ve been following. Go listen. It’s a great episode.
