Since I recently got married, people keep asking about the honeymoon. It’s been fun to relive it through each of these conversations. So I thought some of you might find it interesting.
My husband and I spent about a week in Asheville, N.C., reveling in the joy of being newlyweds. We wanted a nearby vacation spot that would provide plenty of options for sites to see, delicious food, and tasty beverages.
Asheville did not disappoint. It’s an incredible place full of nice and happy people, great restaurants, delicious local craft beer, places to hang out, great shopping, and plenty of sites to see. Oh, and it’s also quite affordable. Win!
I loved being in Asheville and I totally miss it. Here are some pictures that have helped me mentally return to that state of ultimate relaxation, sheer joy, and absolute delight of being in Asheville, N.C., as newlyweds. (I took plenty of pics, but these were the easiest to revisit via Instagram.)
Enjoy!

Wedge Brewing = delicious local craft beer. I could have stayed there all afternoon. Can’t wait to go back.

Wicked Weed is one of my new favorite places. I love the way the entire place is designed. I love their wide range of delicious craft beer even more. I must return sooooon.

Thirsty Monk has amazing homemade pretzels and beer cheese dip. I tried my first sour beer there. We had a few beer flights so we could taste a lot of different beers. What an awesome place.
