The 2013 Full Frame Documentary Film Festival starts on Thursday, April 4th and runs through Sunday, April 7th. It’s a fantastic way to see excellent films, learn something new, and foster great conversations. I highly recommend that you get to the fest — if for no other reason than to say hi to me when I’m giddy and tired. It’s a sight to see, for sure.
Don’t have the cash for a festival pass? No cash to buy just one ticket for a movie? No sweat. No problemo.
There are six (6) free film screenings at the festival this year. They also have five (5) Speakeasy conversations that are free and open to the public. No tickets required. Yay!
While the fest itself starts on Thursday, April 4th, most of the free stuff starts the second day of the fest and runs through the weekend. I’ve pulled the freebies from the Full Frame website, so go there for more info. I’ve added links throughout the list to help ya out as much as possible, too.

Buy Movie Tickets
By the way, if you realized there are other things you want to watch that weekend but you don’t have a festival pass, you can totally buy single movie tickets for $15.00. Check out the schedule or browse the list of films in alphabetical order. See something you wanna watch? Go to the Full Frame website and get more info about how to buy a ticket to that film PRONTO — they sell out quickly.
Look for me at the fest
I’ll be at the Full Frame Documentary Film Festival all four days — as much as possible each day. Look for me there and say hi. Let’s take a picture together and post it on Instagram. Or tweet something fun. Ask me questions and I’ll tell you no lies. Give me tips on how to make my next doc. Find out where to find the best food at the fest. You know, whateves! I’ll be there, so be sure to say hey.
I should have bought a pass months ago. This one snuck up on me. I’ll be there for some of the free stuff for sure. Is there anything you’d recommend? I might buy a few individual tickets.
There are so many great films screening this year! It’s really tough to chose. Depends on what’s important to you, you know? If you make it out, be sure to tell me hi while you’re there! 🙂
Hi, it appears you have linked to the Carolian theatre of greensboro. You might wish to change the link to the one in Durham. Cheers!
