I’m a fan of Ava DuVernay. She’s crushing it. I’m watching her every move with love, admiration, and mad respect.
So when the documentary she directed, 13TH, was released, I was eager to watch it.

Last week, I finally got the chance to see 13TH.
The documentary is a powerful, timely, and important film.
I hope all of my peers, family, and friends will watch 13TH. Not one day. Not sometime. Not eventually. Instead, I hope they’ll watch it as soon as possible.
