Hello, friends! I want to say thank you all for reading what I share here. It really means a lot to me that you stop by and share your comments, tweet the posts to your friends, and give me face-to-face feedback. I genuinely appreciate it!

That’s why I want to tell you that there are going to be some changes on this site. I’m working on a few things that you loyal readers will want to know about before they happen. Get ready, eh?

First things first. I’m going to start sending regular emails to my fans. It’ll be different content than what I share on the blog. It’ll be more intimate than the things I share publicly, where just anyone can stop by and read it.

You’ll want those emails. That’s why I added a way for you to easily add your email address to the recipient list. See the form on the top of the side bar (right-hand side of the page)? Add your email address there and you’ll start getting those monthly emails from me.

Secondly, the look and feel of this site may change in the coming weeks. Think of it as spring cleaning! I love a bright and happy, clean home online! This site will start to look a little different but you’ll still get regular blog posts and access to my work.

Finally, I’m going to step up my game.

Over the years I have been learning and experimenting as a newbie filmmaker. Man, oh, man. I have learned a lot. Now it’s time to put those lessons to work.

I’m willing to share what I’ve learned with you. I’ve been cooking up a few ways to do that. So you’ll see some new stuff on this site related to those lessons learned.

What do I want to improve? I desperately want to tell incredible, beautifully told stories on screen. I want to share breath-taking still photos with each blog post. I want to write things that inspire you to chase your own dreams, too. I’m working towards improving those things all the time.

Yes, it’s about to get real up in here.
