Rustic? Industrial? Modern? Glam? I’m not sure what style to use for my new studio.

So I’ve been pinning like a mad man, trying to figure it out. I’ll may end up with a tiny bit of each style in the room. It will be glorious. Here are some of the images I’m digging on Pinterest right now.

This work area is totally vintage / rustic / industrial. I love everything about it. The white walls, bright light, white wooden floors, and white storage area make me happy. As do the old school printing letters on the back wall. I’m a big fan of old wooden crates, too. That chair wouldn’t work for long hours. But for short spells of sitting, it’d do the trick.

This space is so feminine and happy and inviting. I love everything about it. Fresh flowers, pretty couch, books on the coffee table, and artwork on the wall? Shush. It’s so happy! I love this room and I wanna go sit on that couch.

This is a lot like the very first one: white walls, white floor, white desk, etc. I’m in love with bright whites and lots of sunlight, haveyounoticed? I love the mismatch of artwork on the wall, vintage suitcases, and a chair used to hold magazines and what looks like an old camera. And the iMac has plenty of room on the table, which is awesome. This one looks eclectic and kinda messy, but not really. It’s organized chaos, I think, which is why I totally love it.

This room is a little more glamorous and girlie, perhaps. I’m not a huge fan of animal prints, so I doubt I’d ever buy that rug but it works in this room. I’m totally obsessed with clear chairs, so that one is calling my name. I also love the dark brown shelves with the white coral-like thing on it. This space has a lot of patterns and textures but it all works well together. I can dig it.

Are you sensing a trend? Clear chair and stool with something white and comfy on it. Mac on the desk. Lighting. Plenty of shelving and artwork. Cozy but organized and comfortable. Love, love, love.

This one (above) is phenomenal but I don’t know how I’d keep it that tidy. (Btw, that girl looks skinny and happy. Maybe that’s the real reason I like this room. She’s so calm and put together. I hate her already; just kidding.) But the huge desk is fantastic, especially with the lighting above. Doubt that I’d need the extra seating. I love the shelves against the wall and how they are styled. Looks like there’s a big window in the room, too, which is delightful.

Overall? I’m still figuring out how to style the new studio. It won’t be available for about six months, so I have time to plan and drool over pretty pictures like these.

In all honesty, I’ll most likely pull together the things that I already own and find a way to make them work for a while. When I need something new, I’ll put that piece in the room and then put it to work. The room will keep reinventing itself.

But, for now, a girl can dream of a picture perfect room, eh?
