Two of my favorite actors, Tom Hanks and Emma Thompson, are going to be in a movie titled Saving Mr. Banks. I can’t help but get excited about this movie after seeing the first official still (via The Film State and Time). Tom Hanks plays Walt Disney. Emma Thompson portrays P.L. Travers, author of Mary Poppins books. I have so much respect for both actors. Can’t wait to see this film. Yay!

Sounds great. I always loved that movie. Most people miss the redemption story. The last 10 minutes of the movie are amazing for me as a Dad. It’s really a story about a father almost missing the joy of having children. The mother too. Mary Poppins is just there to bring them together and then leaves. My favorite line from the movie is when Mary says “Enough is as good as a feast”.
